Saskia Elise Garraway was born in July 1988, making her 26, and considers herself a Hawthorn native because she can't truthfully claim to be from anywhere else. She was born and raised in a family that had very little money but a whole lotta love, and the rest of her life has reflected that upbringing. Mostly in the sense of the fact that she still has very little money but laughs a lot and sends the crying-with-laughter Emoji even more often. Smiles all around. School was a dud for her (concentration skills? What are concentration skills?) and her options upon graduation were limited, but she fell into hair-styling -- a profession where she gets paid to make people feel good about themselves and to gossip all day. Some might say that Saskia is an acquired taste; if you want to focus on the negatives, she's flighty and uncommitted with a really bad attention span and a tendency to forget things if they're not reminded about constantly. She, however, prefers to focus on the positives and would claim to be Fun with a capital f. The sort of person that people like to keep around if they need a shot of ridiculous cheer in their day, even. Random and ridiculous and constantly surprising -- is she selling herself yet? True, one day she may find that there needs to be a little bit more to life than what she's currently toting around, but until then life is good and what more could she want?

first middle and last name
Saskia Elise Garraway is my name and it has no significant meaning to my family other than my parents kinda liked it. Well, I presume they did. Bit of a stupid decision on their part if they hated it.
birthdate and age
July 3rd 1988 which makes me 26. That's right guys: I've been able to rent a car from Budget without paying the daily underage fee for a whole year now. Officially an adult.
occupation
I'm a hair stylist. It's a position of great responsibility and I take it very seriously. Also it's basically getting paid to gossip so that's cool.
who does your family consist of? How many siblings do you have?
My mom and dad, Annie and Bill, plus my little bro Milo. My family is pretty boring on paper, you've probably got to meet the weirdos before any sort of conclusions can be drawn.
what kind of pets do you have?
Okay so my roommate has a ton of pets (okay: two) and so if I were to get any I feel like the apartment would become a zoo but a really sort of boring one with just cats and dogs. So technically I have no pets, but I steal Nina's if I'm feeling like I need non-human companionship.
which hawthorn neighborhood do you live in?
Wentworth Village because I'm moving up in the world yo.
do you live alone?
I jumped the gun on this one and already introduced Nina via her pets. I could use this space to talk about how awesome she is just to be nice, but honestly I'm in it for the pets.
what is your idea of perfect happiness?
This is a low whistle sort of question. Deep, man. Deep. I don't know - I was always encouraged to live in the moment and find happiness in the smaller things - which I guess was a nice way of distracting me from the fact that we had no money. We couldn't make a trek to Disneyland to find the happiest place on earth, it had to be in our back yard. So I guess my happy place is pretty simple -- cool people, good drinks, probably some chicken nuggets in the equation somewhere -- but I'm also totally aware that my attention span is stupid and so I'd probably be content for about five minutes before my brain suggested some kind of ridiculous plan to keep everyone entertained.
what is your relationship like with your parents? If you don't have one, explain.
I feel like it's a normal relationship for a woman to have with her parents. Like I said, they're utter weirdos but they gave me life and love and money and so I'll never say a bad word about them where they might be able to hear me.
what does your ideal weekend or day off look like?
Do people really have 'ideal' days off? Who are these people? I just like days off. Getting them is good enough for me. I don't have a wishlist for them. Some days I'll want to lounge around, some days I'll want to hit the city... 'ideal' implies a level of forward thinking that I just don't have.
what do you regret most about your time in high school?
Not learning magic like in Harry Potter. Why'd you have to base Hogwarts in the UK, JK? I wanted to go. (Oh wait, you meant seriously? Probably not paying more attention. Parent-teacher conferences were full of 'must try harders' and even though I hate admitting when authority figures know more than me they were probably right.)
what word or words do you overuse the most?
Literally. Ohmygod. Me. What? Shut up. And, my personal favorite, what do you want to do with your bangs?
what fictional character do you most relate to and why?
My bro says I'm like Jake Peralta. I see Ferris Bueller. My mom says Emma Woodhouse, and my dad says to ask him when the football is finished. Yes, I took an impromptu family survey to answer this question. No, it is not cheating.
how would you like to die?
After a dance-off that I still win even though I'm dying - and my last words will be "at least they'll never find the treasure". Doesn't even make sense. Don't care.
